Bei dieser Karte habe ich mal wieder verschiedene Stempel kombiniert.

Das Pferd ist von Craft Emotions, die Katze von Cats on Appletrees, die Heuballen von Clearly Besotted, der Text (den ich etwas abändern musste) von Dani Peuss und die Karotte habe ich von hand gezeichnet.

Coloriert habe ich alles mit Alkoholstiften.

With this card I once again combined different stamps.

The horse is from Craft Emotions, the cat from Cats on Appletrees, the hay bales from Clearly Besotted, the text (which I had to change a bit) from Dani Peuss and the carrot I drew by hand.

Immer wenn ich / Whenever

... diesen Stempel mit der coolen Katze von Newton's Nook Design gesehen habe, musste ich an den Film "Man in black" denken. Also ist auf meiner heutigen Karte eine passende Szene entstanden.

... I saw this stamp with the cool cat from Newton's Nook Design, I had to think of the movie "Man in black". 

So a suitable scene was created on my card today.

Zuerst habe ich das Motiv gespiegelt und anschließend mit Alkoholstiften coloriert.

Den Hintergrund habe ich mit verschiedenen Schablonen gestaltet. Die Buchstaben sind einzeln gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und mit Schaumstoffpads aufgeklebt.

First I mirrored the motif and then colored it with alcohol pens.

I designed the background with different stencils. The letters are individually stamped, cut out and glued on with foam pads.

Ich weiß, ich weiß / I know, I know

... falsche Jahreszeit!!

Aber ich habe riesen großen Spaß an der Technik von Kartenkunst "Vom Stempel zur Bleistiftzeichnung".

But I have a lot of fun with the technique from Kartenkunst "From stamp to pencil drawing".

Den Hintergrund habe ich auch wieder mit einer Schablone und Acrylsprays gestaltet.

Dazu kamen noch ein paar Gräserstempel und das passende Gefühl (aus dem Kartenkunst-Shop).

Wie schmeckt Melone / How does melon taste

... am Besten?? Natürlich zu Zweit!!

... best? Of course in twos!

Für meine Karte habe ich einen Digistamp von Gerda Steiner verwendet.

Das gute an Digistamps, man bekommt sie oft auch als png-Datei. Das heißt, der Hintergrund ist nicht weiß, sondern transparent. Somit konnte ich den Digistamp zuerst spiegeln und dann soweit an den anderen Bären heran schieben, das sie sich etwas überlappen.

Coloriert habe ich mit Alkoholstiften.

I used a Gerda Steiner Digistamp for my card.

The good thing about digistamps is that they are often also available as png files. This means that the background is not white, but transparent. So I was able to mirror the digistamp first and then push it close to the other bear so that they overlap a little.

I colored with alcohol pens.

Ein bisschen getrickst / A little tricked

... habe ich bei meiner heutigen Karte.

... I have with my card today.

Ihr müsst zugeben, es sieht aus wie eine Bleistiftzeichnung. Das ist es auch, aber zuvor habe ich mit einem sehr hellen Grauton die Schmetterlinge auf meine Karte gestempelt. Anschließend habe ich mit einem Bleistift die Konturen nachgezeichnet und mit einem Papierwischer die Schatten erzeugt.

You have to admit, it looks like a pencil drawing. It is, but before that I stamped the butterflies on my card with a very light shade of gray. Then I traced the contours with a pencil and created the shadows with a paper wiper.

Gesehen habe ich diese Technik bei Kartenkunst. Dort wird die Technik auch noch einmal genau erklärt.

I saw this technique by Kartenkunst. There the technology is explained again in detail.

Nachdem ich die Schmetterlinge fertig mit Bleistift gezeichnet hatte, habe ich sie maskiert, eine Blumenschablone aufgelegt und mit zwei verschiedenen Acrylsprays den Hintergrund gestaltet. Das gibt einen schönen Kontrast zu den Schmetterlingen.

After I had finished drawing the butterflies with pencil, I masked them, applied a flower stencil and designed the background with two different acrylic sprays. That gives a nice contrast to the butterflies.

Und eins weiß ich genau, das bleibt nicht die einzige Karte mit dieser tollen Technik.

And I know one thing for sure, it won't be the only card with this great technique.

Manche Herausforderungen / Some challenges

... sind wirkliche Herausforderungen für mich!!

Aber Herausforderungen sind ja auch dazu da, das man sie annimmt.

Und das habe ich gerne getan, denn ich darf diesen Monat das Team von Do-Al(l) Kreatives als Gastdesigner unterstützen.

Das Thema lautet: "Teddies + alles außer Karten"

But challenges are also there to be accepted.

And I was happy to do that, because this month I can support the Do-Al(l) Kreatives team as a guest designer.

The theme is: "Teddies + everything except cards"

Für meine Box habe ich einen leeren Karton gepimpt.

Ich habe dafür ein Motiv des Sponsors SheepSki Design verwendet.

I pimped an empty cardboard box.

I used a motif from the sponsor SheepSki Design.

Coloriert habe ich mit Alkoholstiften. und damit der Teddy den Brief auch richtig greifen kann, habe ich die Tatze ein zweites mal coloriert, ausgeschnitten und mit Schaumstoffpads aufgeklebt.

I colored it with alcohol pens and so that the teddy could grab the letter properly, I colored the paw a second time, cut it out and stuck it on with foam pads.

Zuerst hatte ich Probleme mit dem Thema, aber jetzt bin ich ganz zufrieden und ich denke, ich werde die Box noch einmal basteln mit anderen Farben.

At first I had problems with the topic, but now I'm quite happy and I think I'll tinker the box again with other colors.

Für beide Karten habe ich für den Hintergrund die selbe Schablone benutzt und mit Distress Oxide Farben gefärbt. Das kleine Boot und die Meerestiere habe ich aus verschiedenen Papierresten ausgestanzt.

For both cards I used the same stencil for the background and colored it with Distress Oxide colors. I punched out the small boat and the sea animals from various leftovers of paper.

Natürlich werden wir nicht stören!!

Ich erzähle Euch lieber, um welches Thema es diesen Monat bei  Day of the Month Card Club geht.

"National Watermelon Day"

Für meine Karte habe zuerst ein Gloss paper mit Alkoholfarben eingefärbt und daraus das Blatt ausgestanzt. Den Birkenstamm habe ich aus einem Stück weißen Karton ausgestanzt und mit einem Fingerschwamm leicht gewischt. Aus einem Stück Aquarellpapier riss ich ein kleines Rechteck und beschriftete es per Hand. Mit einem kleinen Brad befestigte ich es am Blatt. Den Birkenstamm habe ich mit Schaumstoffpads aufgeklebt und mit einem Brad dann das Blatt am Stamm befestigt.

Ach so, Ihr wollt jetzt wissen, was da unter dem Blatt ist und was meine Karte mit dem aktuellen Thema zu tun hat.
Aber wir dürfen doch nicht stören.

Also erzähle ich Euch, das ich nicht nur Wassermelonen sehr gerne esse, sondern auch alle anderen Melonen, wie z.B. Honigmelonen, Guadeloupe-Melonen ...

For my card I first colored a gloss paper with alcohol colors and punched out the leaf from it. I punched the birch trunk out of a piece of white cardboard and wiped it lightly with a sponge. I tore a small rectangle out of a piece of watercolor paper and labeled it by hand. I attached it to the leaf with a small brad. I glued the birch trunk on with foam pads and then attached the leaf to the trunk with a brad.

Oh, now you want to know what's under the sheet and what my card has to do with the current topic.
 But we mustn't disturb.

So I tell you that I not only like to eat watermelons, but also all other melons, such as Honey melons, Guadeloupe melons ...

Den Rahmen habe ich aus einem Aquarellpapier ausgestanzt und ihn dann mit Aquarellfarben coloriert. Für die Gestaltung der Karte habe ich mich dieses mal am vorgegebenen Sketch und an den vorgegebenen Farben orientiert.

I punched the frame out of watercolor paper and then colored it with watercolor paints. For the design of the card I used the given sketch and the given colors.

                                                   

Ich durfte mich natürlich auch über eine Karte freuen. Diesen Monat kam sie von Cat C. in Maryland.
