... kleiden sich gerne mal im Gothic-Stil.

... sometimes like to dress in a Gothic style. 

Für diese Karte diente das Foto der aktuellen Christmas Kickstart Challenge als Inspiration.

The photo from the current Christmas Kickstart Challenge served as inspiration for this card.

Zum Einsatz kam mein Lieblingsschneemann von Polkadoodles.

Im Stempelset ist nur eine Mütze enthalten, deshalb 'borgte' ich mir einen Zylinder 

aus einem Stempelset von HoneyBee.

Ich stempelte den Schneemann direkt auf die Karte und maskierte ihn.

Anschließend gestaltete ich den Hintergrund mit Schablonen und Distress Oxides. 

Zusätzlich stempelte ich noch kleine Schneeflocken.

Den Schneemann habe ich mit Alkoholmarkern coloriert und anschließend mit einem weißen Gelstift Highlights gesetzt sowie den Eindruck von Schnee erzeugt.

Die Baumsilhouette stanzte ich aus schwarzem Karton. Mit einem weißen Polycromo-Stift gestaltete ich den Schnee auf den Ästen. Zum Schluss habe ich sowohl den Hintergrund als auch die Baum-Silhouette mit einem silbernen Schimmer versehen – auf dem nächsten Foto ist das etwas deutlicher zu erkennen.

I used my favorite snowman stamp from Polkadoodles. 

Since the stamp set only includes one type of hat, I 'borrowed' a top hat from a HoneyBee stamp set. 

I stamped the snowman directly onto the card and masked him off. Next, I created the background using stencils and Distress Oxides, and added some small stamped snowflakes. 

I colored the snowman with alcohol markers, then used a white gel pen to add highlights 

and suggest the presence of snow. 

I die-cut the tree silhouette from black cardstock and used a white Polychromos pencil 

to add snow to the branches. 

Finally, I applied a silver shimmer to both the background and the tree silhouette - 

you can see this a bit more clearly in the next photo.

Resteverwertung Nr.41 / Use of leftovers No.41

 

Es war höchste Zeit, mal wieder ein paar Reste aufzubrauchen!!!

It was high time to use up some leftovers again!!!

In meinem Enthusiasmus hätte ich beinahe vergessen, ein Foto von den Resten zu machen.

Aber zum Glück noch rechtzeitig gemerkt. 😊

In my enthusiasm, I almost forgot to take a photo of the leftovers. 

But fortunately, I realized it just in time. 😊

Und so sieht das fertige Ergebnis aus.

And this is what the finished result looks like.

Entstanden ist ein ATC.

Für den Hintergrund verwendete ich ein Stück Designpapier, 

welches ich zusätzlich mit Schneeflocken und dem Text weiß embossed habe.

Aus den Papierresten (eingefärbtes Aqurellpapier) stanzte ich die kleinen Häuser, Tannen, 

Laternen und die Landschaft. Ich klebte dann alles direkt auf das ATC.

The result is an ATC.

For the background, I used a piece of patterned paper, 

which I further embellished by white-embossing snowflakes 

and text (Every era has its own magic) onto it.

Using paper scraps (tinted watercolor paper), I die-cut the small houses, fir trees, 

lanterns and the landscape. I then adhered everything directly onto the ATC.

Es war nicht einfach / It wasn't easy

 

... meine heutige Karte zu fotografieren.

Inspiriert wurde ich zu dieser Karte durch die aktuelle Christmas Kickstart Challenge.

I was inspired to create this card by the current Christmas Kickstart Challenge.

Mal ein ganz anderes Thema und genau solche Herausforderungen liebe ich!!

A completely different topic for a change and these are exactly the kind of challenges I love!!

Zuerst gestaltete ich den Hintergrund der Karte. Dafür stanzte ich mit einer Eckstanze 

von Sizzix die Weihnachtssterne und hinterlegte sie mit silber funkelndem Papier.

Anschließend stempelte ich noch verschiedene Stempel auf.

Den Nussknacker stempelte ich auf ein separates Stück Papier und colorierte ihn mit Alkoholstiften. 

Den Baum fand ich in meinem Fundus. Ihn brachte ich mit Distress Spritz zum Glänzen. 

Geschenk und Zweige sind ebenfalls von Sizzix und diese stanzte ich aus Papierresten aus. 

Nachdem ich alles auf der Karte arrangiert hatte, fügte ich den Text: 'Glanz und Gloria' hinzu 

(auf dem Foto schwer zu erkennen).

First, I created the background for the card. To do this, I used a Sizzix corner punch 

to cut out poinsettia shapes, backing them with shimmering silver paper.

Next, I added various stamped designs.

I stamped the nutcracker on a separate piece of paper and colored it using alcohol markers. 

I found the tree in my collection and gave it a bit of sparkle using a Distress spray. 

The gift and the branches are also from Sizzix; I die-cut these from paper scraps. 

Once I had arranged everything on the card, I added the phrase "Glitter and Glory" 

(which is a bit hard to see in the photo).

Das Fest Halloween / I don't like

 

... mag ich überhaupt nicht, aber ich liebe es, Halloween-Karten zu erstellen.

(Ich weiß, es gibt keine vernünftige Erklärung dafür!! ... *lach*)

... the holiday of Halloween at all... but I love creating Halloween cards.

(I know, there's no logical explanation for it!! ... *laughs*)

Ich habe wieder das Postkartenformat gewählt, dieses mal aber einen Stempel.

Diesen kombinierte ich mit Stempeln von Globleland und colrierte alles mit Alkoholstiften.

I chose the postcard format again, but this time I used a stamp.

I combined it with stamps from Globleland and colored everything with alcohol markers.

Halloween ist das große Thema bei der aktuellen Challenge der Traumfabrik.

Das Postkartenformat / I’ve really taken a liking

 

... hat es mir angetan und ich habe viel Freude, Karten im Postkartendesign zu gestalten.

Dieses mal sind gleich zwei Karten entstanden.

... to the postcard format, and I thoroughly enjoy designing cards in that style.

This time, I created two cards.

Die tolle Postkartenstanze ist von Marianne Design.

Den Hintergrund beider Karten gestaltete ich mit Rub On Transfer Stickern 

(49 and Market und Stamperia) und Spritzern mit mica Gloss in gold. 

Auf der zweiten Karte kamen auch noch Stempel (Les Ateliers de Karin) zum Einsatz.

The fantastic postcard die is from Marianne Design.

I created the backgrounds for both cards using rub-on transfers (49 and Market and Stamperia) 

and gold Mica Gloss splatters. 

For the second card, I also incorporated stamps (Les Ateliers de Karin).

Den großen Schmetterling embosste ich in gold auf Aqurellpapier und colorierte mit Aquarellfarben. Nach dem Trocknen gab ich noch goldenen Schimmer darauf. 

Das seht Ihr auf den nachfolgenden Fotos noch besser.

Die kleinen Briefmarken (Les Ateliers de Karin und Mes P'tits Ciseaux) 

stempelte ich separat, colorierte sie und klebte sie direkt auf die Karte. 

I heat-embossed the large butterfly in gold onto watercolor paper and colored it with watercolors. Once dry, I added a golden shimmer. 

You can see this more clearly in the photos below.

I stamped the small postage-stamp motifs (from Les Ateliers de Karin and Mes P'tits Ciseaux) 

separately, colored them, and adhered them directly to the card.

... mir eine Geburtstagskarte für einen leidenschaftlichen Jäger basteln?

Bei dieser Frage fing mein Gehirn ordentlich an zu rattern.

Aber im weiteren Gespräch und nach Durchsicht meiner Bastelmaterialen 

hatte ich die entscheidende Idee.

... make a birthday card for an avid hunter?

That question really got my brain whirring.

But as the conversation continued and after looking through my crafting supplies, 

I had the perfect idea.

Ich wählte das DIN-lang Format.

Die Elemente für den Wald stanzte ich aus Aquarellpapier aus und colorierte alles mit Aquarellfarben. Auch für den Hintergrund wählte ich Aquarellpapier, 

auf welchem ich mit Aquarellfarben im oberen Bereich Himmel und Wolken 

und im unteren Bereich Waldboden andeutete. 

Die Tiere stanzte ich aus dunkelbraunem Karton aus.

Ein Motiv für eine Jäger habe ich nicht und so half mir meine Silhouette Cameo.

I chose the DIN-long format.

I die-cut the forest elements from watercolor paper and colored everything using watercolors. 

I also selected watercolor paper for the background, 

using paints to suggest the sky and clouds in the upper section 

and the forest floor in the lower section. 

I die-cut the animals from dark brown cardstock.

I didn't have a design for a hunter, so I used my Silhouette Cameo to help.

Nicht nur die Auftraggeberin war von der Karte begeistert, sondern auch der Empfänger.

Not only the client was delighted with the card, but the recipient was too.

September Enthüllung bei CCC / September CCC Reveal

 

 Es ist wieder Zeit für die Enthüllung bei der Card Chain Challenge.

It's reveal time again in the Card Chain Challenge.

Diesen Monat ging meine Karte zu Patricia in Texas.

This month my card went to Patricia in Texas.

Dieses mal habe ich gleich 3 Vorgaben umgesetzt, die Farbauswahl, den Sketch 

und das Thema: Niedlich und lustig

This time, I incorporated three specifications: the color scheme, the sketch 

and the theme: cute and funny.

Den Hintergrund gestaltete ich mit einer Schablone und Distress Oxides.

Darauf stempelte ich kleine Blüten und einen Wirbel.

Darauf platzierte ich das niedliche Kätzechen und eine Feder (beides aus einem Designpapier von Craft O'Clock.

Den Text habe ich mit der DYMO erstellt.

I created the background using a stencil and Distress Oxides.

Over that, I stamped small flowers and a swirl.

I then placed the cute kitten and a feather on top (both from Craft O'Clock design paper).

I created the text using a DYMO label maker.

Meine Karte kommt diesen Monat von Gail aus Norwegen, ist aber noch auf dem Weg.

My card for this month is coming from Gail in Norway, but it is still on its way.

Mit dem Beginn des Herbstes / With the onset of autumn

 

... ist auch wieder die Pilzsaison eröffnet.

Sehr viele Pilze haben wir noch nicht gefunden, es ist (noch) zu trocken 

und aktuell haben wir wieder sommerliche Temperaturen.

... mushroom season has begun again.

We haven't found very many mushrooms yet, it is (still) too dry, 

and we are currently experiencing summer-like temperatures again.

Den strukturierten Karton im Hintergrund bearbeitete ich zusätzlich mit einer Schablone 

und Distress Oxides und machte mit kuperfarbenem Mica Gloss große und kleine Spritzer.

Die Buchstaben und kleinen Tiere (Charlie & Paulchen) stanzte ich aus ganz dunklem, 

leicht glänzendem Karton aus und befestigte alles mit Schaumstoffpads. 

Den Farn und die Pilze stanzte ich aus Aquarellpapier und colorierte mit Aquarellfarben.

I further embellished the textured cardstock in the background using a stencil 

and Distress Oxides, then added large and small splatters with copper-colored Mica Gloss.

I die-cut the letters and small animals (Charlie & Paulchen) from very dark, 

slightly glossy cardstock and attached everything using foam pads. 

I die-cut the fern and mushrooms from watercolor paper and colored them with watercolors.

Inkspirational Challenge #377 - Fall and Halloween Cupcakes

Ganz langsam / Very slowly

 

... hält der Herbst Einzug und bringt all die Freuden dieser Jahreszeit mit sich.

Und die Eichhörnchen haben jetzt wieder jede Menge zu tun.

Sie flitzen über unser Grundstück, sammeln Nüsse und Eicheln ...

und nächstes Jahr im Frühjahr finde ich sie dann in den Beeten und Pflanzkübeln wieder.

... autumn is approaching, bringing with it all the joys of the season.

And the squirrels have plenty to do again now.

They dart across our property, gathering nuts and acorns...

and come next spring, I’ll find them again in the flowerbeds and planters.

Passend dazu habe ich zwei ATC's gestaltet.

Die Rahmenstanzen mit den Zweigen sind aus der Renke Manufaktur 

und haben die perfekte Größe für ein ATC.

Diese hinterlegte ich mit Designpapier, welches ich noch zusätzlich bestempelt habe.

Und nach langer Zeit kamen mal wieder die lustigen Tiere von Cat's on Appletrees zum Einsatz, 

welche ich stempelte und dann ausschnitt.

To go along with this, I created two ATCs.

The branch frame dies are from Renke Manufaktur and are the perfect size for an ATC.

I backed them with patterned paper that I had also stamped.

And after a long time, the fun animal stamps from Cat's on Appletrees came out to play again, 

I stamped and then cut them out. 

Den Pilz stempelte ich ebenfalls separat, colorierte ihn mit Distress Oxides, 

schnitt ihn aus und klebte ihn leicht unter den Rahmen.

I also stamped the mushroom separately, colored it with Distress Oxides, 

cut it out, and adhered it slightly underneath the frame.

Die kleinen Blätter stanzte ich aus Aquarellpapierresten, 

die ich mal mit Brushofarben eingefärbt hatte.

I punched the small leaves out of scraps of watercolor paper 

that I had previously colored with Brusho paints.

Die Bilder stammen aus einem Designpapier von Craft O'Clock.

Monika not only loves sewing but also finds great joy in reading.

And so, I came up with an idea for my card.

I created the background using stamps (Florilèges Design and CoAT's)

and rub-on stickers.

The images come from a sheet of design paper by Craft O'Clock.

The sentiment means:

'Take time for life and do what you love.'

And I was delighted to receive mail from Claudia from the blog Alltagsbunt.

Eine tolle Herbstkarte!!

Sie hat sie mit Wachsstiften gemacht und ich hoffe, sie erklärt auf Ihrem Blog, 

wie sie es genau gemacht hat. Die Oberfläche hat eine schöne Haptik.

Und ein hübsches Herbstallerlei. Jetzt kann der Herbst kommen.

She made it using wax crayons, and I hope she explains exactly how she did it on her blog. The surface has a lovely texture.
