Schon vor einiger Zeit / Some time ago

 

... hatte ich diese Karte gebastelt und verschickt.

... I made and sent this card.

Dafür habe ich nur einen Teil der Briefmarkenstanze verwendet.

Darauf habe ich das Blumenmotiv gold embossed und anschließend mit Aquarellfarben coloriert. 

Nach dem Trocknen stempelte ich noch kleine Punkte auf und natürlich die Postwertzeichen.

I only used part of the postage die for this.

I embossed the flower motif in gold and then colored it with watercolors. 

After it dried, I stamped a few dots on it and of course the value of the stamps.

DotMCC - National U.S. Postage Stamp Day - Reminder

 

Bei Day of the Month Card Club sammeln wir immer noch die schönsten

Briefmarken. Zum Beispiel Briefmarken mit Blumen.

At Day of the Month Card Club we still collect the most beautiful stamps.

For example stamps with flowers.

"National U.S. Postage Stamp Day"

Für meine Briefmarken habe ich dieses mal Designpapier benutzt.

Aus diesem habe ich die Briefmarken ausgestanzt.

Anschließend habe ich mit einem hellen Braun die Postwertzeichen aufgestempelt.

Dann stanzte ich den kleinen Briefumschlag aus und stempelte darauf den Gruß.

This time I used designer paper for my stamps.

I punched out the stamps from this.

I stamped the value of the stamp with a light brown ink.

Then I punched out the small envelope and stamped the greeting on it.

Die Idee hat mir selber so gut gefallen, 

das dann gleich noch weitere Karten entstanden sind.

I liked the idea so much that I immediately made more cards.

Das Leben ist ein Fest / A Sense of Celebration

This month we celebrate all occasions!!!

Ich habe mich für eine Geburtstagskarte entschieden.

Auf einen cremefarbenen Kartenrohling stempelte ich zuerst die Zweige in dunkelblau.

Den Text stanzte ich ebenfalls aus dunkelblauem Karton und hinterlegte ihn mit Designpapier.

Farblich passend stanzte ich noch einen Schmetterling aus.

I decided on a birthday card.

I first stamped the branches in dark blue onto a cream-colored card blank.

I also punched the text out of dark blue cardboard and backed it with design paper.

I also punched out a butterfly in a matching color.

Ich hoffe, ich konnte Euch inspirieren mitzumachen.

Ein neuer Pocketletter / A new pocket letter

 

... ist fertig.

... is ready.

Für die einzelnen Karten habe ich entweder Aquarellpapier oder Designpapier genommen.

Beides habe ich bestempelt. 

Die Schmetterlinge und die großen Blumen  habe ich aus verschiedenen Designpapieren ausgeschnitten. Die anderen Blüten hsbe ich gestempelt, coloriert und ausgeschnitten.

Die Buchstaben stnzte ich ebenfalls aus Designpapier und hinterlegte sie mit grauem Papier.

For the individual cards I used either watercolor paper or design paper.

I stamped both.

I cut out the butterflies and the large flowers from various design papers. 

I stamped, colored and cut out the other flowers.

I also cut out the letters from design paper and backed them with gray paper.

Mein Vorhaben, jeden Monat einen Pocketletter zu erstellen, funktioniert leider nicht.

Es kommt immer wieder etwas dazwischen.

Aber nicht so schlimm, es ist ja kein Wettbewerb.

Ideen habe ich noch viele und irgendwann auch wieder die Zeit.

Unfortunately, my plan to create a pocket letter every month isn't working.

Something always comes up.

But it's not so bad, it's not a competition.

I still have lots of ideas and will have the time again at some point.

Die Farbkombination / The color combination

 

... lies mich sofort an eine Winterkarte denken.

... immediately made me think of a winter card.

Bei "The Color Hues Challenge" werden Karten mit den Farben "Weiß + Aqua" gesucht.

In "The Color Hues Challenge" they are looking for cards with the colors "White + Aqua".

Ich stanzte alle Elemente aus weißem und aquafarbenem Karton. 

Der Schneemann ist aus weiß glänzendem Karton ausgestanzt. 

Den Hintergrund prägte ich. Bevor ich die Elemente aufklebte, 

befestigte ich Band in weiß und aqua. 

Vervollständigt habe ich die Karte mit einem kleinen Stern und Halbperlen ebenfalls in aqua.

I punched all the elements out of white and aqua-colored card. 

The snowman is punched out of white glossy card. I embossed the background. 

Before I glued the elements on, I attached ribbon in white and aqua. 

I completed the card with a small star and half pearls, also in aqua.

Da mir die Farbkombination so gut gefällt, ist gleich noch eine zweite Karte entstanden.

Since I like the color combination so much, I made a second card straight away.

Für diese Karte gestaltete ich den Hintergrund mit einer großen Rahmenstanze.

Diese hinterlegte ich mit glänzendem Papier in aqua.

For this card, I designed the background with a large frame punch. 

I backed it with glossy aqua paper.

Tiffy fühlt sich richtig wohl in unserem Garten.

Wir haben festgestellt, das sie am liebsten bei warmem Wetter draußen ist, 

die Kühle und den Regen mag sie nicht so. Liegt wahrscheinlich daran, 

das sie aus Kreta stammt.

Tiffy feels really comfortable in our garden.

We have noticed that she prefers to be outside in warm weather, 

she doesn't like the cold or the rain. That's probably because she comes from Crete.

Ihr Lieblingsplatz! - Her favourite place!

DotMCC - National U.S. Postage Stamp Day

 

Als Kind habe ich gerne Briefmarken gesammelt.

Ich hatte zwei Alben, eins mit Briefmarken mit Tiermotiven und eins mit Märchenmotiven.

Leider besitze ich die Alben nicht mehr, aber die Faszination an Briefmarken ist immer noch vorhanden.

As a child, I loved collecting stamps.

I had two albums, one with animal-themed stamps and one with fairy-tale-themed stamps.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the albums, but I still have a fascination with stamps.

Bei Day of the Month Card Club sammeln wir diesen Monat 

auch Briefmarken.

At Day of the Month Card Club we are also collecting stamps this month.

"National U.S. Postage Stamp Day"

Natürlich habe ich mich für Briefmarken mit Tieren entschieden.

Die Motive ergänzte ich mit dem Portopreis und Poststempeln.

Coloriert habe ich alles mit Alkoholstiften.

Ich habe mich für das Slimline-Format enstschieden.

Das Hintergrundpapier ist ein Reststück Geschenkpapier. 

Dieses bestempelte ich zusätzlich.

Of course I chose stamps with animals.

I added the postage price and postmarks to the motifs.

I colored everything with alcohol pens.

I chose the slimline format.

The background paper is a leftover piece of wrapping paper.

I also stamped this.

Juni Enthüllung bei CCC / June CCC Reveal

 

Es ist wieder Zeit für die Enthüllung bei der Card Chain Challenge.

It's reveal time again in the Card Chain Challenge.

Diesen Monat ging meine Karte zu Jo in UK.

This month my card went to Jo in UK.

Dieses mal habe ich mich für die Umsetzung des Themas Sommer / Maritim entschieden.

This time I decided to implement the summer / maritime theme.

Für alle Teile meiner Karte verwendete ich Aquarellpapier.

Aus dem quadratischen Stück stanzte ich einen Kreis. Auf das Hintergrundpapier 

prägte ich die Wolken und gestaltete mit Aquarellfarben das Wasser.

Die ausgestanzten maritimen Teile lies ich alle weiß, bis auf die Möwe und den Holzpfosten.

I used watercolor paper for all parts of my card.

I punched a circle out of the square piece. I embossed the clouds onto the background paper

 and designed the water with watercolors.

I left all the punched out maritime parts white, except for the seagull and the wooden post.

Glückspilze / Glückspilze

... is available not only in autumn, but all year round.

Ich bin der Einladung von Mia gefolgt und zeige meine beiden Lesezeichen 

bei der aktuellen Friendly Challenge mit dem Thema "Mushrooms".

I followed Mia's invitation and am showing my two bookmarks 

at the current Friendly Challenge with the theme "Mushrooms".

Bei beiden Lesezeichen habe ich die Hintergründe mit Distress Oxides, 

Schablonen und Stempeln erstellt. 

Für das erste Lesezeichen verwendete ich den süßen Stempel von Coco Feeling 

und einen passenden Spruch aus einem Set von Creative Depot.

For both bookmarks I created the backgrounds with Distress Oxides, stencils and stamps.

For the first bookmark I used the cute stamp from Coco Feeling 

and a matching saying from a set from Creative Depot.

Für das zweite Lesezeichen stanzte ich den Pilz und die Farne aus Aquarellpapier aus 

und colorierte sie mit Aquarellfarben.

For the second bookmark, I punched out the mushroom and ferns from watercolor paper 

and colored them with watercolors.

Wir möchten also etwas sehen, das auf dem Kopf steht.

This challenge requires a little explanation.

The movie Inside Out has the German title “Alles steht Kopf”, which means upside down. 

So we want to see something that is upside down.

...maybe you would also like to pick up the colors and/or the layout of the movie poster... ;))

Für meine Karte kombinierte ich Stempel von Craft Emotions und Cats on Appletrees

und colorierte alles mit Alkoholstiften.

For my card I combined stamps from Craft Emotions and Cats on Appletrees 

and colored everything with alcohol pens.

Unsere Tiffy darf seit ein paar Tagen auch raus und sie liebt es.

Meistens an Ihrer Seite, Kamo.

Our Tiffy has been allowed outside for a few days now and she loves it.

Mostly by your side, Kamo.

Sie klettert gern die Bäume rauf.

She likes to climb trees.

Oder legt sich irgendwo hin und beobachtet ihre Umgebung.

Or lie down somewhere and observe your surroundings.
