Als Hintergrund verwendete ich Designpapier, 

welches ich mit drei verschiedenen Stanzformen ausgestanzt habe.

For the background, I used patterned paper that I die-cut using three different dies.

Das Designpapier habe ich dann zusätzlich noch bestempelt.

I then also stamped the patterned paper.

Die niedlichen kleinen Motive sind Sticker.

Am Wochenende hatten wir süßen Besuch.

We had a sweet visitor over the weekend.

Kamo's große Liebe Maggy mit Herrchen und Frauchen und ihrer großen "Schwester" Lisa.

Kamo's great love Maggy with her owners and her big "sister" Lisa.

Und Tiffy immer mittendrin.

And Tiffy always right in the middle of it all.

Kamo und Maggy spielten und tobten gemeinsam durch den Garten.

Kamo and Maggy played and romped through the garden together.

Und zwischendurch mussten sie immer mal eine kleine Pause machen.

And every now and then, they had to take a short break.

... sieht die Karte aus.

Das waren die Worte, als mein Sohn die fertige Karte sah.

So hatte ich die Karte gar nicht betrachtet, aber ich muss ihm Recht geben.

... the card looks like.

Those were the words my son used when he saw the finished card.

I hadn't looked at the card that way myself, but I have to agree with him.

Auf ein Stück weißes Papier stempelte ich den Hintergrundstempel von Crafter's Companion. 

Dieser wird in mehreren Schichten gestempelt.

Nach dem Trocknen stanzte ich drei Waben aus und schnitt zusätzlich noch zwei Bienen aus.

Aus schwarzem Karton stanzte ich noch drei weitere Waben aus und prägte sie mit einem Blumenmuster.

Beim Stanzen der Waben bleiben schmale Rahmen übrig, die ich ebenfalls verwendet habe.

Die schwarzen Waben klebte ich direkt auf die Karte 

und die anderen Waben und die Bienen mit Schaumstoffpads.

I stamped the Crafter's Companion background stamp onto a piece of white paper; 

this stamp is applied in multiple layers.

Once dry, I die-cut three honeycomb shapes and also cut out two bees.

I die-cut three additional honeycomb shapes from black cardstock 

and embossed them with a floral pattern.

Die-cutting the honeycombs leaves behind narrow frames, which I also used.

I adhered the black honeycombs directly to the card, 

while attaching the other honeycombs and the bees using foam pads.

Bei der Traumfabrik geht es diesen Monat auch um Bienen 

und wir wollen sie reichlich fliegen sehen.

This month, the Dream Factory is also all about bees, 

and we want to see plenty of them flying.

Ich versuche immer / I always try

... die Restekiste zu leeren, auch um die Kartenvorratsbox zu füllen.

Ein paar kleine Reste habe ich für eine Weihnachtskarte verwendet.

... to empty the leftover box, partly to fill the box of cards.

I used a few small scraps for a Christmas card.

Den ausgestanzten Rahmen prägte ich zweimal, 

den Schriftzug positiv und die Schneeflocken negativ. 

Das niedliche Motiv ist ein Sticker, welchen ich mit verschiedenen Elementen 

aus meiner Restekiste kombinierte.

I embossed the die-cut frame twice: 

the lettering in relief (positive) and the snowflakes debossed (negative). 

The cute motif is a sticker that I combined with various elements from my leftover box.

Erst einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön für Eure lieben Kommentare zu meinen Aquarellbildern. 

Als „Künstlerin“ ist man mit sich selbst nie ganz zufrieden 

– man denkt immer, es ist noch Luft nach oben. 

Aber im Vordergrund steht die Freude am Malen und mit jedem Bild übe ich mehr 

und probiere mehr aus.

Ich werde Euch auch weiterhin meine Aquarellbilder zeigen, 

doch zwischendurch muss ich auch mal den Inhalt der Restekiste verkleinern.

First of all, a big thank you for your lovely comments on my watercolor paintings. 

As an 'artist,' you’re never quite satisfied yourself 

—you always think there’s room for improvement. 

But the joy of painting is what matters most, and with every picture, 

I practice more and try out new things.

I’ll keep sharing my watercolors with you, 

though every now and then I also need to work through my leftover box.

Ich beschloss, Reste von Aquarellpapier zu verwenden.

I decided to use scraps of watercolor paper.

Und so sieht die fertige Karte aus.

And this is what the finished card looks like.

Aus den Papierresten stanzte ich alle Teile für die Sonnenblumen.

Auf einen Kraftkarton stempelte ich den Maschendraht.

Mit Schaumstoffpads klebte ich die Sonnenblumen auf die Karte und ergänzte den Text.

I punched out all the pieces for the sunflowers from the watercolour paper scraps.

I stamped the chicken wire pattern onto a piece of kraft cardstock.

Using foam pads, I adhered the sunflowers to the card and added the text.

Die Kornblumen / The cornflowers

 

... haben dieses Jahr sehr üppig und in großen Mengen geblüht

(und in meinem Graten habe ich auch einige entdeckt).

Und so habe ich versucht, sie mit Aquarellfarben "haltbar zu machen".

... have bloomed very profusely and in large numbers this year

(and I discovered some in my garden, too).

And so I tried to "preserve" them using watercolors.

Das Bild hat Postkartengröße.

Ich male sehr gern in diesen kleinen Formaten.

So habe ich immer noch die Möglichkeit, es einzurahmen oder eine Karte daraus zu machen.

The picture is the size of a postcard.

I love painting in these small formats.

That way, I still have the option of putting it in a frame or turning it into a card.

Im Urlaub / When I'm on vacation

 

... gehe ich nicht nur gerne wandern, ich arbeite auch gern mit meinen Aquarellfarben, 

denn dann habe ich die nötige Ruhe und Zeit.

... I not only enjoy hiking, but I also like working with my watercolors, 

because that’s when I have the necessary peace and time.

Ein klitzekleines Problem war im Urlaub aufgetreten.

Ich hatte alle notwendigen Materialien eingepackt, nur nicht den Aquarellkasten.

Also suchten wir im Internet, ob es in der Nähe einen Künstler- oder Kreativladen gibt.

Nur eine halbe Stunde Fahrtzeit entfernt gab es einen Laden in Remiremont 

und ich sage Euch, dieser Laden ist das Paradies für jeden kreativen Menschen.

Ich bekam nicht nur einen Aquarellkasten, sondern viele schöne Bastelsachen!!!

A tiny little problem came up while we were on vacation.

I had packed all the necessary supplies—except for my watercolor set.

So, we searched online to see if there was an art or craft store nearby.

There was a shop in Remiremont just a half-hour drive away, 

and let me tell you, it’s a paradise for any creative person.

I didn't just get a watercolor set; I also picked up lots of lovely craft supplies!!!

Ich freute mich schon sehr darauf, die Aquarellfarben zu testen und war sofort begeistert.

Bis jetzt hatte ich nur einen ganz einfachen und preiswerten, 

doch dieser ist von der Firma Winsor & Newton und der Qualitätsunterschied ist beeindruckend.

Die Farben enthalten deutlich mehr Pigment, was das Malerlebnis völlig verändert.

I was really looking forward to testing the watercolors and was immediately impressed.

Up until now, I had only used a very simple, inexpensive set, 

but this one is from Winsor & Newton, and the difference in quality is striking.

The paints contain significantly more pigment, 

making the experience of working with them completely different.

Bienen / Fortunately

 

... habe ich, zum Glück, viele im Garten und ich schaue ihnen auch gerne zu, 

wenn sie von Blüte zu Blüte fliegen und den Nektar sammeln.

... I have a lot of bees in my garden, and I also enjoy watching them 

fly from blossom to blossom collecting nectar.

Ich habe mal wieder zu der tollen Briefmarkenstanze gegriffen.

Die einzelnen Felder habe ich mit zwei verschiedenen Wabenschablonen teilweise coloriert.

Die kleine niedliche Biene stammt aus einem alten Stampin Up Set, 

welches ich immer noch gerne mag.

I reached for that great postage stamp cutting die once again.

I partially colored the individual sections using two different honeycomb stencils.

The cute little bee comes from an old Stampin' Up! set that I still really like.

Bei der Traumfabrik geht es diesen Monat auch um Bienen 

und wir wollen sie reichlich fliegen sehen.

Das ist der Lac de Lispach (Lispachsee).

This is Lac de Lispach (Lake Lispach).

Es ist ein Moorsee in den Hochvogesen und ein bemerkenswertes Naturparadies.

It is a moorland lake in the High Vosges and a remarkable natural paradise.

Das Faszinierendste an diesem See ist, das es sehr viel zu entdecken gibt 

und man das Gefühl hat, mit jedem neuen Blick, an einem ganz anderen Ort zu sein.

The most fascinating thing about this lake is that there is so much to discover, 

and with every new glance, you feel as though you are in a completely different place.

Vor fünf Jahren waren wir schon einmal hier.

Damals war es ein nebliger Tag mit leichtem Nieselregen.

Auch bei diesem Wetter ist der See faszinierend.

Dann hat er etwas mystisches.

We were here once before, five years ago.

Back then, it was a foggy day with a light drizzle.

The lake is fascinating even in weather like this.

Then it has something mythical about it.
