... reiste für ein paar Tage in die große Stadt (Hamburg) 

und hat sich von dort ganz viele Viren mitgebracht.

... traveled to the big city (Hamburg) for a few days 

and brought back a lot of viruses from there.

Zum Glück übernehmen der kleine Bär und der kleine Fuchs die Fütterung der Waldtiere.

Bei Day of the Month Card Club stehen die Waldtiere diesen Monat im Mittelpunkt.

This month’s Day of the Month Card Club focuses on forest animals.

"Feeding the Forest Animals Day"

Die Karte so zu gestalten war gar nicht einfach, denn im Original (Purple Onion) liegt ein Weihnachtsbaum auf dem Schlitten. Also musste ich sehr viel maskieren und abkleben, 

um zu dem gewünschten Ergebnis zu kommen. Und es war auch nicht so einfach, 

den Strohballen exakt auf dem Schlitten zu platzieren.

Aber am Ende hat alles gut funktioniert und das Futter ist auf dem Weg zu den Waldtieren.

Designing the card like this wasn't easy at all, because in the original (Purple Onion) 

there is a Christmas tree on the sleigh. So I had to do a lot of masking and taping to get the desired result. And it wasn't that easy to place the bale of straw exactly on the sleigh.

But in the end everything worked out well and the food is on its way to the forest animals.

Diesen Monat sind wir im Land der Feen, Einhörner, Fantasie, und der Magie!

This month we are in the land of fairies, unicorns, fantasy and magic!

Den Hintergrund meiner Karte gestaltete ich mit verschiedenen Schablonen und Distress Oxides.

Das Reh und die Elfe stanzte ich aus schwarzem Karton aus 

und klebte sie mit Schaumstoffpads auf die Karte. 

Den kleinen Apfel stanzte ich aus Aquarellpapier aus und colorierte ihn mit Aquarellstiften.

I designed the background of my card using various stencils and Distress Oxides.

I punched out the deer and the elf from black cardstock and glued them to the card using foam pads. 

I punched out the small apple from watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor pencils.

Mystisch geht es auch bei uns im Wald zu, 

denn mitten im Wald steht die "Madonna des Waldes".

There is also something mystical about our forest, 

because in the middle of the forest stands the "Madonna of the Forest".

Wenn man aus einer bestimmten Richtung kommt, sieht es immer so aus, 

als wenn eine Madonnastatue dort steht. 

Geht man um die Ecke, sieht man, das es nur ein Baumstumpf ist.

Eine faszinierende optische Täuschung.

When you come from a certain direction, it always looks like there is a statue of the Madonna there. 

If you go around the corner, you can see that it is just a tree stump.

... brauchen die Wildtiere unsere Hilfe.

Das ist den meisten auch bewusst.

In Polen wird jedes Jahr am 11. Februar ein besonderer Tag abgehalten, 

um das Bewusstsein dafür zu schärfen.

... wild animals need our help.

Most people are aware of this.

In Poland, a special day is held every year on February 11th to raise awareness of this.

Bei Day of the Month Card Club wollen wir diesen besonderen Tag ebenfalls in den Fokus rücken.

At Day of the Month Card Club we also want to focus on this special day.

"Feeding the Forest Animals Day"

Für meine beiden Rehe (Cottage Cutz) gibt es ganz besondere Leckereien.

Alle Teile (Äpfel: Memory Box) habe ich aus Aquarellpapier ausgestanzt 

und mit Aquarellfarben coloriert. 

Auf dem Kartenrohling gestaltete ich mit einer Schablone und Distress Oxides eine große Schneeflocke. Mit Schaumstoffpads klebte ich alle Elemente auf die Karte 

und vervollständigte es mit einem passenden Text (Kartenkunst).

There are very special treats for my two deer (Cottage Cutz).

I punched out all the pieces (apples: Memory Box) from watercolor paper 

and colored them with watercolors. 

I designed a large snowflake on the card blank using a stencil and Distress Oxides. 

I glued all the elements onto the card using foam pads and completed it with a suitable text (Kartenkunst).

The Four Season February Challenge "Anything goes Winter"

Zwischendurch waren die Temperaturen etwas milder 

und Tiffy begleitete uns wieder auf unseren Morgenspaziergängen.

Es war ein frostiger / It was a frosty

 

... aber auch sehr sonniger Tag im Februar vor 20 Jahren, 

als mein Mann und ich uns das Ja-Wort gaben.

... but also very sunny day in February 20 years ago 

when my husband and I got married.

Das Schicksal bestimmt,

wer in unser Leben kommt.

Aber es ist das Herz,

das entscheidet,

wer bleibt.

Fate determines 

who comes into our lives.

that decides who stays.

Mit Aquarellfarben und Brushofarben färbte ich Aquarellpapier ein.

Nach dem Trocknen schnitt ich Herzen in verschiedenen Größen aus 

und gestaltete sie zusätzlich noch mit einem weißen Acrylstift und einem schwarzen Fineliner.

Auf einen grauen Kartenrohling stempelte ich kleine weiße Punkte und bildete mit den Herzen einen Kranz. Aus schwarzem und weißem leicht glänzenden Karton stanzte ich die Zahlen, 

klebte sie leicht versetzt aufeinander und anschließend in die Mitte des Kranzes.

I colored watercolor paper with watercolors and brush paints.

After it dried, I cut out hearts in different sizes 

and decorated them with a white acrylic pen and a black fineliner.

I stamped small white dots on a gray card blank and formed a wreath with the hearts. 

I punched the numbers out of black and white slightly shiny cardboard, 

glued them slightly offset on top of each other and then in the middle of the wreath.

Januar Enthüllung bei CCC / January CCC Reveal

 

Es ist wieder Zeit für die Enthüllung bei der Card Chain Challenge.

It's reveal time again in the Card Chain Challenge.

Diesen Monat ging meine Karte zu Pia in Norwegen.

This month my card went to Pia in Norway.

Bei der Umsetzung der Karte wählte ich den Sketch 

(ich habe ihn etwas freier interpretiert und gedreht), die Farbvorgaben und das Thema Katzen.

When creating the card, I chose the sketch (I interpreted a little more freely and rotated it), 

the color specifications and the theme of cats.

Zuerst stempelte ich die Katzen (Stempelbar Berlin) und maskierte sie.

Mit einer Schablone und Distress Oxides gestaltete ich den Hintergrund.

Den passenden Text machte ich mit meiner Dymo.

First I stamped the cats (Stempelbar Berlin) and masked them.

I designed the background using a stencil and Distress Oxides.

I made the appropriate text using my Dymo.

Meine Karte von Tina aus Slowenien und ist leider noch auf dem Weg.

Bei der Traumfabrik wollen wir diesen Monat Spaß mit den Pinguinen haben.

At the Dream Factory we want to have fun with the penguins this month.

Der Film für diesen Monat...

The movie for this month... 

Könige der Wellen

In diesem lustigen Film geht es hauptsächlich um Pinguine, 

aber ihr könnt euch auch von anderen Elementen des Films inspirieren lassen, 

sowie vom Titel und dem Plakat.

This funny movie is mainly about penguins, 

but you can take inspiration from any other elements of the movie, 

as well as the title and poster.

Für meine Karte verwendete ich ein süßes Motiv von LOTV.

Dies kombinierte ich mit einem Sternenrahmen von Creative Depot, welchen ich gold embossed habe. Der Pinguin mit der roten Mütze bekam noch einen Stern von Charlie & Paulchen in den Flügel. Vervollständigt habe ich die Karte mit drei kleinen Holzsternen.

For my card I used a cute motif from LOTV.

I combined this with a star frame from Creative Depot, which I embossed in gold. 

The penguin with the red hat also got a star from Charlie & Paulchen in its wing. 

I completed the card with three small wooden stars.

Einen Blick in die Sterne / A glimpse of the stars

 

... als Geschenk.

... as a present.

Die Jubilarin liebt es, abends auf ihrem Balkon zu sitzen und in die Sterne zu schauen.

Da hatten wir die Idee, ihr zu ihrem runden Geburtstag einen Besuch im Planetarium zu schenken. Diesen Sonntag fahren wir mit ihr ins Zeissplanetarium in Berlin und werden gemeinsam eine Reise 

zu den Sternen und Planeten unseres Sonnensystems machen.

Sie hat sich riesig über dieses Geschenk gefreut 

und natürlich gehört eine passende Karte zum Geschenk dazu.

The birthday girl loves to sit on her balcony in the evening and look at the stars.

So we had the idea of ​​giving her a visit to the planetarium for her big birthday. 

This Sunday we are going to the Zeiss Planetarium in Berlin with her 

and will take a trip to the stars and planets of our solar system together.

She was really happy about this gift and of course a matching card is included with the gift.

Für meine Karte verwendete ich das süße Stempelset von Hello Bluebird.

Den Hintergrund gestaltete ich mit Schablonen und Distress Oxides.

Dann stempelte ich die Sterne und colorierte sie mit einem gelben Glitzerstift.

Die Tiere stempelte ich separat, colorierte sie mit Alkoholstiften, schnitt sie aus 

und klebte sie mit Schaumstoffpads auf die Karte.

Then I stamped the stars and colored them with a yellow glitter pen.

I stamped the animals separately, colored them with alcohol pens, cut them out 

and stuck them onto the card with foam pads.

sondern muss auch cool und stylisch aussehen.

Der Elch auf meiner Karte erfüllt beide Voraussetzungen!!

The moose on my card meets both requirements!!

Zuerst stempelte ich den Elch (Newton's Nook Design "Moose Mountain"), 

maskierte ihn und gestaltete die Berge. Dazu riss ich ein Stück Papier in die Form 

und benutzte es als Schablone. Mit Stempelfarbe wischte ich nur die Ränder.

Den Elch colorierte ich mit Alkoholstiften. Dann stempelte ich kleine Schneeflocken 

(Newton's Nook Design "Newton's Curious Christmas"). 

Die Berge bekamen dann noch viel Schnee mit dem Snowmaker.

First I stamped the moose (Newton's Nook Design "Moose Mountain"), 

masked it and designed the mountains. To do this, I tore a piece of paper into the shape 

and used it as a stencil. I only wiped the edges with stamp ink.

I colored the moose with alcohol pens. Then I stamped small snowflakes 

(Newton's Nook Design "Newton's Curious Christmas"). 

The mountains then got a lot of snow with the snowmaker.

Meine zwei Felljungs hätten auch ganz gerne viel Schnee.

Leider gibt es bei uns z.Zt. nur Regen. Da sind die Felljungs dann nicht so motiviert.

My two fur boys would also like a lot of snow.

Unfortunately, we only have rain at the moment. The fur boys are not very motivated.

Ich hatte mal wieder Lust / I felt like working

 

... mit Aquarellfarben zu arbeiten.

... with watercolors again.

Zuerst zeichne ich mir das Motiv ganz dünn mit Bleistift vor 

und dann wird in Etappen das Motiv mit Aquarellfarben gezeichnet. 

Damit die Farben nicht ineinander verschwimmen, muss man warten, 

bis die eine Farbe getrocknet ist.

Zum Schluss setzte ich mit einem weißen Acrylstift kleine Akzente, 

stanzte den Text aus einem Reststück Aquarellpapier und klebte es direkt auf die Karte.

First I sketch the motif very thinly with a pencil 

and then I draw the motif in stages with watercolors. 

To ensure that the colors don't blur into one another, you have to wait until one color has dried.

Finally, I added small accents with a white acrylic pen, 

punched the text out of a leftover piece of watercolor paper and glued it directly onto the card.
