Sommer ist eine innere Einstellung!
Summer is an inner attitude!
Offensichtlich habe ich nicht die richtige innere Einstellung, denn seit 14 Tagen regnet es jeden Tag. Sommer sieht für mich anders aus!!
Aber die beiden Kätzchen auf meiner Karte wissen, wie es geht.
Apparently, I don't have the right inner attitude,
because it's been raining every day for the past two weeks. Summer looks different to me!
But the two kittens on my card know how it's done.

Ich habe mal wieder mit meinen süßen Stempeln von Newton's Nook Design gespielt.
Zuerst habe ich mir einen Rahmen erstellt.
Dann stempelte ich die Kätzchen aus dem Set "Newton's Summer Vacation".
Wichtig bei den heißen Temperaturen ist ein Getränk. Also nahm ich die Flasche
aus dem Set "Woodland Picnic" und "füllte" sie mit leckerer Zironenlimonade.
Dann maskierte ich alles und gestaltete den Strand, das Meer und den Himmel mit Distress Oxides. Coloriert habe ich alles mit Alkoholstiften.
Mit weißem Gouache imitierte ich die Wellen.
First, I created a frame. Then I stamped the kittens from the "Newton's Summer Vacation" set.
Drinks are essential in these hot temperatures. So I took the bottle from the "Woodland Picnic" set
and "filled" it with delicious lemonade. Then I masked everything and designed the beach,
sea, and sky with Distress Oxides. I colored everything with alcohol markers.
I imitated the waves with white gouache.

Wenigstens meine Felljungs wissen mit dem vielen Wasser was anzufangen.
At least my fur boys know what to do with all that water.

Beautiful card and love the cute Summery scene, we have had heavy rain at some point for the last few days-makes you laugh as we have a hose pipe ban on at the moment too!.

Tja, da müssen wir uns wohl die Sonne im Herzen bewahren! Heute war bei uns der erste Tag ohne Regen und ich habe es mir mal wieder im Liegestuhl bequem gemacht. Deine beiden Kätzchen machen es richtig!

Das Kätzchenwetter hätte ich auch gerne liebe Gundi,
Sonne, Strand und Meer.
Regen ist nicht so meins im Sommer, doch nachts, da ist es mir egal.

Oh je!!! Da ist ja bestimmt Waschtag für Deine Fellnasen angesagt, denn sauber kommen die vermutlich nicht aus dem Wasser.
Deine Karte zeigt es dem Wetter wie es sein sollte, wenn es bei Euch permanent regnet. Hier zum Glück oder auch leider nicht, das hängt davon ab, aus welcher Sicht man das sieht.
