Ganz spontan / I made my card quite spontaneously

 

... habe ich meine Karte gebastelt, nachdem ich erfuhr, 

das eine liebe Freundin gesundheitliche Probleme hat.

Sehr passend dazu fand ich den Spruch von Theodor Fontane.

... after I found out that a dear friend was having health problems. 

I found Theodor Fontane's saying very fitting.

"Light and air heal, and calm heals, but the best balm spend a kind heart."

Ihr kennt das sicherlich auch. Jemandem mal ganz spontan eine Freude machen.

Da gibt es ganz verschiedene Anlässe, z.B. weil wir jemanden aufmuntern wollen, 

Gute Besserung wünschen, jemanden mal spontan zu Kaffee und Kuchen einladen 

oder einfach mal so eine Karte schicken, die Freude macht.

You probably know that too. Make someone happy spontaneously.

There are very different reasons, for example because we want to cheer someone up, 

wish them a speedy recovery, spontaneously invite someone for coffee and cake 

or simply send a card that makes them happy.

Deshalb möchten wir bei Day of the Month Card Club

diesen besonderen Tag in den Fokus rücken.

Zuerst habe ich den Text am Computer erstellt und auf eine Karte gedruckt.

Dann stempelte ich die Motive von Chou & Flowers direkt auf die Karte 

und colorierte mit Alkoholstiften. Die Blütenmitte betonte ich mit einem Glitzerstift 

und setzte mit einem weißen Gelstift kleine Akzente.

First I created the text on the computer and printed it on a card.

I then stamped the Chou & Flowers images directly onto the card 

and colored with alcohol pens. I emphasized the center of the flower with a glitter pen 

and added small accents with a white gel pen.

Unseren Haustieren geht es zum Glück allen gut 

und die Hunde haben Spaß am gemeinsamen Spiel.

Das Lieblingsspielzeug der Beiden ist ein Elefant. 

Mit diesem machen sie immer tolle "Beute-Spiele"!!

Luckily, our pets are all doing well 

and the dogs are having fun playing together.

Their favorite toy is an elephant. 

They always make great “loot games” with this one!!
