Als ich dieses mal meine Restekiste durchsuchte,
legte ich mich auf zwei Farben fest, grau und mintgrün.
Dabei hatte ich überhaupt noch keine Idee, wie die fertige Karte aussehen könnte.
Meistens habe ich eine grundsätzliche Vorstellung davon,
wie ich die Stücke anordnen möchte.
Also einfach drauf los gearbeitet.
This time when I was looking through my leftover box,
I settled on two colors, gray and mint green.
I still had no idea what the finished card might look like.
Most of the time I have a basic idea of how I want to arrange the pieces.
So just started working.
Heute zeige ich Euch auch mal den Zwischenschritt.
Auf die beiden Rechtecke (links im oberen Bild) stempelte ich "Best wishes" und "Good luck".
Auf die beiden kleinen weißen Rechtecke stempelte ich Muster mit Hintergrundstempeln.
Aus dem silberfarbenen Kreis stanzte ich die Klammer und aus dem dunkelgrauen Rechteck das Zeichen "&". Aus den Designpapierresten stanzte ich die verschiedenen Blüten und Gräser.
Today I'll show you the intermediate step too.
I stamped "Best wishes" and "Good luck" on the two rectangles (on the left in the picture above).
I stamped patterns on the two small white rectangles using background stamps.
I punched the bracket out of the silver circle and the character "&" out of the dark gray rectangle.
I punched the various flowers and grasses from the leftover design paper.
Bevor ich dann alles auf die Karte klebe,
schiebe ich die Teile solange hin und her, bis ich zufrieden bin.
Before I glue everything onto the card,
I move the pieces back and forth until I'm happy.
Und so sieht die fertige Karte aus.
And this is what the finished card looks like.
Vor dem endgültigen Aufkleben der Teile
machte ich noch Stempelabdrücke in hellgrau mit verschiedenen Hintergrundstempeln.
Before finally gluing the parts on,
I made stamp impressions in light gray with various background stamps.
Heute dürft Ihr mal raten, was ich gegessen habe!!
Today you can guess what I ate!!

die Restekarte sieht bezaubernd aus, mir gefällt die Farbkombi richtig gut!
Was Kamo gegessen hat? Irgendwie sieht es nach etwas mit Milch aus, wobei ich nicht weiß ob Hunde Milch haben dürfen. Liebe Grüße

Deine Restekarte ist wieder toll!!! ich versuche ja auch immer Reste mit einzubinden, aber so schöne Karten wie Du aus Resten arbeitest, kriege ich nicht hin. Die Farbkombi gefällt mir sehr gut.

Another masterpiece with all those leftovers, Gundi - you do this so well; wish it worked for me :)

Good idea to choose just a couple of colours from your snippets to use on your card.

What a beautiful snippets creation Gundi! It's lots of fun creating with left overs isn't it :) As for Kamo, hmmm... is it milk? Puppaccino? Ice cream? Yoghurt? White paint? Das mit dem Hin- und Herschieben der Motive auf Karten kenne ich auch. Oft sind es nur kleine Unterschiede, je nach dem, wohin ein Motiv kommt, aber das macht manchmal eine ganze Menge bei der Gesamtoptik aus! Bei dieser Karte ist dir das wieder prima gelungen!
