... but of course I'm just as excited for spring and summer.

Ich habe die große Ehre, Gastdesignerin bei der neuen Color Hues Challenge zu sein.
I have the great honor of being a guest designer for the new Color Hues Challenge.
Dieses mal werden Arbeiten in den Farben pfirsich und petrol gesucht.
This time, work in the colors peach and teal is being sought.
Ich stempelte verschiedene Schmetterlinge (Tracey Hey und Stamplorations)
auf Aquarellpapier und colorierte sie mit Aquarellfarben.
Nach dem Trocknen schnitt ich sie aus.
Den Kartenrohling (Slimline Karte) bestempelte ich in pfirsich und petrol
mit Stempeln von Tracey Hey, LaBlanche und Cats on Appletrees.
Die Schmetterlinge klebte ich dann mit Schaumstoffpads auf die Karte.
Vervollständigt habe ich die Karte mit einem schmalen schwarzen Washitape
und dem Text (ebenfalls Tracey Hey).
I stamped various butterflies (Tracey Hey and Stamplorations) onto watercolor paper
and colored them with watercolors.
After they dried, I cut them out.
I stamped the card base (slimline card) in peach and teal
with stamps from Tracey Hey, LaBlanche and Cats on Appletrees.
Then I adhered the butterflies to the card using foam pads.
I finished the card with a narrow strip of black washi tape and the sentiment (also from Tracey Hey).
Die Kartenidee und -gestaltung gefiel mir selber recht gut,
so dass ich sie gleich noch in einer anderen Farbkombination (pink und türkis) gebastelt habe.
I liked the card idea and design quite a bit myself,
so I immediately made another one in a different color combination (pink and turquoise).

Wie schön die Karten aussehen - die lange Kartenform passt perfekt zum Schmetterlingsreigen und auch die Farben sind frühlingshaft pastellig.
