Resteverwertung Nr.34 / Use of leftovers No.34

 

Ihr müsst zugeben, bei diesen Farben denkt Ihr nicht sofort an eine Herbstkarte.

Aber ich hatte mal Lust auf etwas ungewöhnliches.

You have to admit, these colors don't immediately make you think of an autumn card.

But I felt like something unusual.

Und so sieht die fertige Karte aus.

And this is what the finished card looks like.

Aus den Papierresten stanzte ich die tollen Blätter von Simply Graphic aus.

Den Hintergrund der Karte gestaltete ich komplett mit Stempeln von SU.

Die Blätter klebte ich dann mit unterschiedlich hohen Abstandspads auf die Karte.

Aus dem restlichen Papier stanzte ich noch den Schriftzug 

und hinterlegte ihn mit einem dunkelroten Papier. 

Zum Schluss klebte ich noch kleine durchsichtige Halbperlen auf. 

Diese wirken wie kleine Wassertropfen.

I punched out the gorgeous leaves from Simply Graphic from the scraps of paper.

I designed the background of the card entirely with stamps from SU.

I then adhered the leaves to the card using foam pads of varying heights.

I punched the lettering from the remaining paper and backed it with dark red paper. 

Finally, I glued on small transparent half-pearls. These look like tiny water droplets.
