Und diesen kleinen Anstoss bekam ich durch
die aktuelle Sketch-Challenge bei 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
And I got this little push from
the current sketch challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
Die Briefumschläge und die niedlichen Tiere lagen schon eine längere Zeit auf meinem Basteltisch
und nachdem ich den Sketch gesehen habe, hatte ich sofort die Idee, wie ich meine Karten gestalten möchte.
The envelopes and the cute animals had been sitting on my craft table for a while,
and after seeing the sketch, I immediately had an idea of how I wanted to design my cards.
Die Quadrate im Hintergrund machte ich mit der Acrylblocktechnik.
Ich trug Distress Oxide Stempelfarbe auf, sprühte etwas Wasser auf
und drückte den Acrylblock auf mein Papier.
I made the squares in the background using the acrylic block technique.
I applied Distress Oxide stamping ink, sprayed it with water,
and pressed the acrylic block onto my paper.
Nach dem Trocknen stempelte ich die Kienäpfel und Zweige und die Sterne.
Jedem Tier gab ich noch einen kleinen Brief, den ich zuvor mit Sternen geprägt habe.
After it dried, I stamped the pine cones, branches, and stars.
I gave each animal a small letter that I had previously embossed with stars.
Der Text ist geprägt und jede Karte bekam einen farblich passenden Kartenrohling.
The text is embossed and each card has a matching card blank.
