Eine neue Technik / I tried a new technique

 

... habe ich ausprobiert.

Sie ist gar nicht schwer, man braucht nur etwas Geduld.

It's not difficult at all, you just need a little patience.

Es geht um die Gestaltung des Hintergrundes.

Dafür habe ich auf einem Stück Aquarellpapier zuerst Wasser aufgebracht 

und anschließend die Aquarellfarben. Und dann habe ich Salz darauf gestreut. 

Ich habe mich für grobkörniges Salz entschieden. 

Und jetzt brauchst du Geduld, denn die Farbe und das Salz müssen vollständig abtrocknen. 

Dann kannst du das Salz entfernen.

It's all about creating the background.

For this, I first applied water to a piece of watercolor paper, followed by the watercolors. 

Then I sprinkled salt on top. I chose coarse salt. Now you need patience, because the paint 

and the salt have to dry completely. Then you can remove the salt.

So sieht es aus, wenn das Papier und das Salz fast trocken sind.

Aus einem weißen Kartenrohling stanzte ich den Schneeflockenrahmen.

Die Ränder der Karte bespritzte ich mit SmoochSpritz. Das gibt einen schönen Glanz.

Die süßen Tiere von Purple Onion Design stempelte ich auf ein separates Stück Papier, 

colorierte sie mit Alkoholstiften, schnitt sie aus und klebte sie mit Schaumstoffpads auf die Karte. 

Aus dem restlichen Aquarellpapier stanzte ich noch zwei Schneeflocken aus.

I punched the snowflake frame from a white card stock.

I sprayed the edges of the card with Smooch Spritz. It gives it a lovely shine.

I stamped the cute animals from Purple Onion Design on a separate piece of paper, 

colored them with alcohol markers, cut them out, and adhered them to the card with foam pads. 

I punched two more snowflakes from the remaining watercolor paper.

Mir gefällt die Technik sehr und ich werde sie auch mal mit ganz feinem Salz ausprobieren.

I really like the technique and will try it with very fine salt.
