Der zwischenzeitliche Frost hat dem Flieder bei uns nicht gut getan.
Er ist dieses Jahr sehr schnell verblüht.
Zum Glück können wir uns Blumen basteln, die niemals verblühen.
The intermittent frost didn't do the lilac any good for us.
It withered very quickly this year. Luckily, we can make flowers that never wither.

Alles geht passend zum Thema Frühling!
Anything goes according to the spring theme!
Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Oxides gewischt und kleine Punkte aufgestempelt.
Für den Flieder habe ich alle Teile aus Aquarellpapier ausgestanzt
und anschließend mit Aquarellfarben eingefärbt.
Die Blätter habe ich direkt auf die Karte geklebt und die Fliederblüten mit Schaumstoffpads.
I sponged the background with Distress Oxides and stamped small dots.
For the lilac, I punched out all the parts from watercolor paper
and then colored them with watercolor paints.
I glued the leaves directly onto the card and the lilac flowers with foam pads.

Kamo genießt es, im Garten zu spielen.
Damit er nicht alleine spielen muss, nimmt er meistens seinen Elefanten mit raus.
Kamo enjoys playing in the garden.
So that he doesn't have to play alone, he usually takes his elephant out with him.
Und nach dem Spielen ist ein Nickerchen ganz wichtig.
And after playing, a nap is very important.

Lilac flowers are so short lived that it is a real shame if frosts make them die even quicker. It flowered very early here this year and now virtually over. Your card is gorgeous. Love the inking xx
