Katzen sind sehr eigen, wenn plötzlich etwas Neues in ihrem Zuhause auftaucht.
Es wird argwöhnisch betrachtet, bekommt auch den ein oder anderen Katzenhieb,
aber am aller Besten wäre es, wenn sie es gleich wieder entfernen könnten.
Cats are very particular when something new suddenly appears in their home.
It is looked at with suspicion and gets the occasional cat swipe,
but it would be best if they could remove it straight away.
Mein hübscher Nussknacker (Practical Publishing) wird es wohl nicht sehr einfach haben,
die Freundschaft der beiden Katzen (Katzelkraft) zu gewinnen.
Bei dieser Karte habe ich mit der Maskiertechnik gearbeitet. Zuerst stempelte ich die Katzen,
maskierte sie, dann stempelte ich den Nussknacker, maskierte ihn ebenfalls
und gestaltete anschließend den Hintergrund mit einer Schablone und Distress Oxides.
Coloriert habe ich mit Alkoholstiften.

I used the masking technique for this card. First I stamped the cats and masked them,
then I stamped the nutcracker, masked it too, and then created the background using a stencil and Distress Oxides.
I colored with alcohol pens.

Am 10. Tag der Catlovers Christmas Challenge gab es ein Wortsuchspiel von Kitty.
Ich liebe solche Wortsuchspiele und habe natürlich alle Wörter gefunden.
Und ich habe sogar ein Wort mehr gefunden. Ich vermute mal, er hat sich da heimlich eingeschlichen ... *LOL*
On the 10th day of the Catlovers Christmas Challenge there was a word search game from Kitty.
I love word search games like this and of course I found all the words.
And I even found one more word. I guess he sneaked in there secretly... *LOL*

Haha Gundi, you are so right about cats taking exception to new things in the house! Your cats are adorable - and I think they're right to be slightly suspicious of the Nutcracker man!! Vicky x
So ist das: Katzen wollen im Mittelpunkt stehen und dulden nur ungern jemanden an der Seite des Lieblingsmenschen. Deine Katzen sehen aber sehr relaxed aus und werden dem Nussknacker bestimmt nichts tun.
Der Hintergrund ist prima gewählt und gefällt mir sehr gut.

Oh LOL! I absolutely love your card! Those very suspicious kitties are not at all sure about the nutcrackers! So very typical... the scene speaks for itself! Of course your colouring and shading is always expertly done and that background is fabulous too. I have to laugh at the meme, oh dear!!
