Ich komme heute mit einem ganz besonderen Post, ein Post der mir wichtig ist.

Today I come with a very special post, a post that is important to me.

Acht Jahre lang organisierte Janis jedes Jahr den Cat Lovers Hop.

In den letzten beiden Jahren habe ich immer mitgespielt und hatte sehr viel Freude daran.

Und ich hatte die große Freude, Janis per e-mail kennenzulernen.

Leider verstarb Janis dieses Jahr im Januar und hinterließ eine große Lücke in der Bloggerwelt. 

Ich werde Janis niemals vergessen, denn ...

Janis liebte Katzen!!!

Janis liebte das Leben!!!

Janis liebte das Lachen!!!

Janis war ein ungewöhnlich freundlicher, herzlicher und liebenswerter Mensch.

Meine Blogfreundin Jo hat mit der Catlovers Christmas Challenge eine Möglichkeit gefunden und organisiert, damit wir uns gemeinsam an Janis erinnern können und genau das tun, 

was Janis am meisten geliebt hat.

Janis organized the Cat Lovers Hop every year for eight years.

I've always played along for the last two years and really enjoyed it.

And I had the great pleasure of getting to know Janis via email.

Unfortunately, Janis passed away in January this year, leaving a huge void in the blogging world. 

I will never forget Janis because...

Janis loved cats!!!

Janis loved life!!!

Janis loved laughing!!!

Janis was an unusually friendly, warm and lovable person.

My blog friend Jo found and organized the Catlovers Christmas Challenge as a way for us 

to remember Janis together and do exactly what Janis loved most.

Ich musste gar nicht überlegen, natürlich bin ich bei der Challenge dabei.

Und hier ist meine erste Karte.

I didn't have to think about it, of course I'm taking part in the challenge.

And here is my first card.

Aus einem weißen Kartenrohling stanzte ich diesen großen Sternenkranz und hinterlegte ihn mit silber glänzendem Papier. Aus dem gleichen Papier stanzte ich den silbernen Kreis.

Der Bär ist eine Stanzform aus dem Creative Depot und das niedliche Kätzchen stammt aus einem Stempelset von C.C. Designs. Das Kätzchen colorierte ich mit Alkoholstiften, schnitt es aus 

und gab es dem Bären in die Tatzen.

I punched this large star wreath out of a white card blank and backed it with shiny silver paper. 

I punched the silver circle out of the same paper.

The bear is a die from Creative Depot and the cute kitten is from a stamp set from C.C. Designs. 

I colored the kitten with alcohol pens, cut it out and gave it to the bear's paws.
