Auf den Punkt gebracht! / To the point!

Ganz viele Punkte sind auf meiner Karte zu sehen und das hat einen Grund.

A lot of points can be seen on my card and there is a reason for that.

 

"International Dot Day"

So lautet das aktuelle Thema bei Day of the Month Card Club.

That's the current topic at Day of the Month Card Club.

Das ist der perfekte Tag für uns Kreative!!!

This is the perfect day for us creative people!!!

Für meine Karte habe ich zuerst ein weißes Stück Papier mit Distress Oxides eingefärbt.

Nach dem Trocknen nahm ich eine Schablone mit Punkten 

und brachte Acryl-Leichtstruktur-Paste aus. Auch das musste wieder trocknen.

In der Zwischenzeit stempelte ich die Blüten, colorierte sie mit Alkoholstiften und schnitt sie aus. 

Aus weißem Papier stanzte ich die runden Rahmen und hinterlegte sie mit Transparentpapier. 

Ich befestigte alles mit Schaumstoffpads auf der Karte.

Zum Schluss stanzte ich den Text aus gold glitzerndem Papier 

und hinterlegte es mit schwarzem Papier.

For my card, I first colored a piece of white paper with Distress Oxides.

After drying, I took a stencil with dots and applied acrylic light structure paste. 

That also had to dry again.

In the meantime I stamped the flowers, colored them with alcohol pens and cut them out. 

I punched the round frames out of white paper and backed them with vellum. 

I attached everything to the card with foam pads.

Finally, I punched the text out of gold glitter paper and backed it with black paper.
