Ist das teuer? / Is this expensive?

 

Ich weiß es nicht, denn ich kenne mich mit dieser Währung nicht aus ... 😂

For my english reader. It's a pun and I'll try to explain it. 

The giraffe asks: How much should leaves cost? The crocodile replies: Two Neander thalers. 

Taler (thaler) is an old term for the word money.

Die Giraffe (Dani B) und das Krokodil (Goebie) habe ich auf ein separates Stück Papier gestempelt, 

mit Alkoholstiften coloriert und fein säuberlich ausgeschnitten.

Den Hintergrund erstellte ich mit verschiedenen Schablonen und Distress Oxides.

Die Steine und der Baumstamm sind von Chou & Flowers. Auch diese habe ich mit Alkoholstiften coloriert. Die Blätter stanzte ich aus einem Reststück Aquarellpapier, welches ich vor einiger Zeit mit Brushos eingefärbt hatte. Die Sprechblasen zeichnete ich auf ein Stück weißes Papier, schrieb den Text frei Hand, schnitt alles aus und klebte es zum Schluss auf meine Karte.

I stamped the giraffe (Dani B) and the crocodile (Goebie) on a separate piece of paper, colored them with alcohol pencils and carefully cut them out.

I created the background with various stencils and distress oxides.

The stones and the tree trunk are from Chou & Flowers. I also colored these with alcohol pencils. 

I punched the leaves out of a leftover piece of watercolor paper, which I had colored with Brushos some time ago. I drew the speech bubbles on a piece of white paper, wrote the text freehand, cut everything out and finally glued it to my card.
