Und natürlich singen wir alle "Happy Birthday to you ..."

And of course we all sing "Happy Birthday to you..."

Aber wusstet Ihr auch, dass es für dieses Lied einen eigenen Feiertag gibt?

But did you also know that there is a special holiday for this song?

Diesen Tag wollen wir diesen Monat bei Day of the Month Card Club gemeinsam mit Euch feiern.

We want to celebrate this day with you this month at Day of the Month Card Club.

"Happy Birthday to you Day"

Auf Glossypapier stempelte ich die Blumen und colorierte sie mit Alkoholstiften.

Anschließend stanzte ich das Quadrat aus und klebte das Papier mit Schaumstoffpads auf die Karte. 

In das Quadrat stempelte ich den Geburtstagsgruß.

I stamped the flowers on glossy paper and colored them with alcohol pencils.

Then I punched out the square and glued the paper to the card with foam pads. 

I stamped the birthday greeting in the square.

Das ausgestanzte Quadrat ist doch zu schade zum Wegwerfen 

und so ist gleich noch eine zweite Karte entstanden.

The punched square is too good to throw away and so a second card was created.

Auf den rosa Hintergrund machte ich mit weißem Gesso kleine Spritzer.

Das Quadrat klebte ich mit Schaumstoffpads auf die Karte und platzierte dahinter die ausgestanzten Zweige. Kleine Wassertropfen verteilte ich zum Schluss und platzierte den Geburtstagsgruß.

On the pink background I made small splashes with white gesso.

I glued the square to the card with foam pads and placed the punched-out branches behind it. Finally, I distributed small drops of water and placed the birthday greeting.
