Ich habe mich für die Farbkombination und das Thema Sommer entscheiden, obwohl ich erst dachte,
das mir die Farbkombination gar nicht so gut gefällt. Aber jetzt schon.
I decided on the color combination and the summer theme, although at first I thought that I didn't like the color combination that much. But now.
Meine Karte hatte dieses mal eine weite Reise bis nach Neuseeland zu Suze.
This time my card had a long journey to Suze in New Zealand.
Für meine Karte habe ich die Stanzschablonen von SU verwendet. Ich stanzte die untere Lage aus Aquarellpapier aus und colorierte es mit Aquarellstiften. Die obere Lage stanzte ich aus weißem Glitzerpapier. Farblich passende Spritzer lockern den Hintergrund auf.
I used SU cutting dies for my card. I punched out the bottom layer from watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor pencils. I punched the top layer out of white glitter paper. Color-coordinated splash loosening the background.
Und das Schöne an dieser Challenge ist, wer eine Karte verschickt, bekommt auch eine Karte.
Ich durfte mich diesen Monat über eine Karte von Jo aus England freuen.
And the nice thing about this challenge is that if you send a card, you also get a card.
This month I received a card from Jo in England.
Und manchmal passiert es, dass Karten sehr sehr lange unterwegs sind.
So geschehen mit der Karte von Dee aus Kenia. Sie gehört zur Juni-Challenge.
Aber viel wichtiger ist es, dass die Karte überhaupt angekommen ist.
And sometimes it happens that cards are on the road for a long time.
This is what happened with the card from Dee from Kenya. It belongs to the June Challenge.
But it is much more important that the card arrived at all.

ich finde die Farbkombi für Deine Motivwahl sehr schön :O)
Wundervolle KArten hast Du auch bekommen, beide gefalen mir auch sehr gut! Zu der KArte aus Kenia fällt mir der Spruch ein "Was lange währt .... " ;O) Wie schön, daß sie nach langer Reise gut bei Dir angekommen ist!

beim Blick auf die Farbvorgabe hätte ich vermutlich auch gesagt: "Nicht meins". Aber tatsächlich finde ich Deine Karte ganz wunderbar. Wider Erwarten harmonieren die Farben ganz klasse miteinander - superschön!

Echt toll, wenn man vom anderen Ende der Welt Post bekommt! Die Farbkombi wäre aufgrund des Mandarine-Tons auch nicht so meins gewesen. Kommt aber immer drauf an, in welcher Menge man die Farbe einsetzt.

Sometimes you can be surprised by colours and I think they look stunning on you card. I love how you have coloured the butterflies and sprayed the background. I bet Suze absolutely loves it. How wonderful that you card from Dee arrived in the end xx

Hallo Gundi, das sind doch schöne Sommerfarben und ich sehe sogar ein klein wenig Herbst dazwischen, also ganz aktuell. Schmetterlinge gehören aber absolut zum Sommer.
