I was inspired to create this card by the current Christmas Kickstart Challenge.
A completely different topic for a change and these are exactly the kind of challenges I love!!
First, I created the background for the card. To do this, I used a Sizzix corner punch
to cut out poinsettia shapes, backing them with shimmering silver paper.
Next, I added various stamped designs.
I stamped the nutcracker on a separate piece of paper and colored it using alcohol markers.
I found the tree in my collection and gave it a bit of sparkle using a Distress spray.
The gift and the branches are also from Sizzix; I die-cut these from paper scraps.
Once I had arranged everything on the card, I added the phrase "Glitter and Glory"
(which is a bit hard to see in the photo).

I find it a little hard to picture the Nutcracker on a rather sinister, Halloween-themed card, but you've certainly solved the challenge with great skill, my friend!
Hugs from Spain!
Beautiful card and background, love the Nutcracker and the stamped and die-cut background.

So cool, love the great background and the papers you used behind the poinsettias. Like your coloring of the Nutcracker and how you layered ecerything together!
Stunning with the lilac background and Gothic nutcracker, Gundi - love this!!
