Für meine Karte verwendete ich einen Stempel von Studio Light.
Diesen stempelte ich auf Aquarellpapier und colorierte alles mit Aquarellfarben.
Passend zu den Hortensienblüten wählte ich einen lila farbenen Karton als Kartenbasis.
Den Text (Renke Manufaktur) stanzte ich zwei mal aus,
aus weißen und lila farbenen Karton und klebte ihn leicht versetzt übereinander.
For my card, I used a Studio Light stamp.
I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored everything with watercolors.
To match the hydrangea blossoms, I chose a purple cardstock as the card base.
I punched the text (Renke Manufactory) twice, from white and purple cardstock,
and glued them slightly offset.
Um einen gleichmäßigen Stempelabdruck auf Aquarellpapier zu bekommen,
sollte man ein Aquarellpapier mit glatter Oberfläche verwenden.
Ich wurde gefragt, welches Aquarellpapier ich verwende.

To achieve an even stamp impression on watercolor paper,
you should use watercolor paper with a smooth surface.

Auch wenn ich mich über meine Hortensien sehr freue,
aber an die Blütenpracht der Hortensien in der Bretagne reichen sie nicht heran.
Dieses Jahr haben wir einen ganz besonderen Spaziergang gemacht.
Der Weg nennt sich "Chemin d'hortensias" - "Hortensienpfad"
Er ist 3 km lang und ich habe dort Hortensien gesehen, die ich noch nicht kannte.

they don't quite match the blooms of the hydrangeas in Brittany.
This year we went on a very special walk.
The path is called the "Chemin d'hortensias" - "Hydrangea Trail."
It's 3 km long, and I saw hydrangeas there that I hadn't seen before.
Kamo war bei diesem Spaziergang an etwas ganz anderem interessiert!!
Kamo was interested in something completely different on this walk!!

Ich hab verschiedene von solchen Stempeln von Studio Light, aber diese kenn ich nicht und finde sie wunderschön. Deine Karte ist toll!

sollte ich irgendwann mal Urlaub in der Bretagne machen...
Hortensien gehen einfach immer, meine weißen verfärben sich gerade grün.
Deine Hortensie bleibt so schön lila, sie wird wohl nicht verblühen. Eine hübsche karte.

die Karte sieht wunderschön aus, du hast alles so harmonisch coloriert und platziert. Der Hortensienpfad ist ein Traum, so viele verschiedene Formen und Farben! Kamo hingegen fand das Vöglein interessanter ... so lieb, wie er zuhört ;-)

Einige der gezeigten Hortensien kenn ich auch nicht, habe sie noch nie gesehen. Jede für sich ist wundervoll.
Deine Karte ist aber auch wunderschön. Eigentlich braucht man da gar nicht mehr raus zu gehen: stempeln und malen wir uns unsere eigene Nartur!!!

Deine Hortensienkarte ist so wunderschoen!! Und die Hortensien am Hortensienpfad sehen auch total zauberhaft schoen aus! Ich habe auch einige in meinem Garten aber ich denke sie brauchen viel mehr Regen. Eine meiner Hortensien blueht leider seit 3 oder 4 Jahren nicht mehr und ich weiss nicht wieso :( Ist wirklich schade!!

I love hydrangeas and keep them in pots in my garden because it is too dry for them. Your card is beautiful and it is so nice to see it in the we love stamping gallery. Thanks for sharing the pictures of the hydrangea walk. I have never seen anything like it, just wonderful xx PS. I have been away and am now trying to catch up
You always know how to use those scraps to keep creating beautiful cards. Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers though this year my blue hydrangeas didn't bloom like last year, just one flower which made me sad.
