We love exploring a region step by step and at our leisure.
Eine Wanderung, die schon längere Zeit auf unserer Wunschliste stand,
ist die Wanderung entlang der Flüsse Aven und Belon. Beide münden in den Atlantik.
A hike that has been on our wish list for a long time
is the hike along the Aven and Belon rivers. Both flow into the Atlantic Ocean.
Wir starten am Aven, ganz in der Nähe des Ortes Pont Aven.
We start at the Aven, very close to the town of Pont Aven.
In der Ferne können wir schon die Mündung des Aven in den Atlantik erkennen,
aber noch ist es ein Stück zu laufen.
In the distance we can already see the mouth of the Aven into the Atlantic,
but we still have a bit of a walk to go.
Wir haben die Mündung erreicht.
We have reached the mouth.
Weiter geht es zur Mündung des Belon.
We continue to the mouth of the Belon.

Deutlich zu erkennen, die Austernbänke.
Hier im Belon werden die berühmten Belon-Austern gezüchtet ...

... die wir uns dann auch direkt bei einem Austernfischer schmecken lassen.

Unsere nächste Wanderung führt uns durch einen dicht bewachsenen Mischwald.
Our next hike takes us through a densely overgrown mixed forest.
Unser Ziel ist die Moulin du Mohot (Mohot Mühle).
Our destination is the Moulin du Mohot (Mohot Mill).
Es ist so friedlich hier und wir möchten am liebsten ewig verweilen.
It is so peaceful here and we would like to stay forever.
Träumen wir also noch eine Weile von diesem wunderschönen Ort ...

... bevor es auf eine weitere interessante Wanderung geht.
Wieder sind wir direkt am Atlantik.

Nach ein paar Kilometern beginnt hinter den Dünen das Marschland.
After a few kilometers the marshland begins behind the dunes.
Ein Paradies für viele Vogelarten, die wir auch gut beobachten können.
A paradise for many bird species, which we can also observe well.
An diesem See machen wir Rast.

... hat Kaito sich ein schattiges und kühles Plätzchen gesucht.

Wir wandern weiter im Marschland, bis wir wieder am Atlantik sind.
We continue hiking through the marshland until we reach the Atlantic Ocean again.
Faszinierend!
Zuerst ist der Strand zerklüftet und steinig
und mit einem mal beginnt ein kilometer langer feiner Sandstrand.
Fascinating!
At first the beach is rugged and rocky
and then suddenly a kilometer-long fine sandy beach begins.
