Heute wird es warm und kuschelig!!
Today it will be warm and cozy!!
Denn jeder, der schon einmal ein Alpaka gestreichelt oder Alpakawolle angefasst hat,
der weiß wie weich und warm sich beides anfühlt.
Alpakas haben einen hohen Stellenwert für die Wirtschaft und Kultur in Peru.Jedes Jahr am 1. August wird die Arbeit der Alpakazüchter gewürdigt.
Because anyone who has ever stroked an alpaca or touched alpaca wool
knows how soft and warm both feel. Alpacas are very important to the economy and culture in Peru.
Every year on August 1st, the work of alpaca breeders is honored.
Und auch wir bei Day of the Month Card Club möchten diese Arbeit würdigen.
Meine beiden Alpakas machen Modenschau für die Produkte aus Alpakawolle.
Ich stempelte sie auf ein Stück weißes Papier, colorierte alles mit Alkoholstiften
und gestaltete mit einem weißen Gelstift die Schneeflocken.
Das gesamte Bild gab ich in einen Polaroidrahmen.
Auf den grauen Kartenrohling stempelte ich die Zweige und die Schneeflocken.
Das Alpakafoto ergänzte ich mit Briefumschlägen und einer Klammer.
My two alpacas are doing a fashion show for the products made from alpaca wool.
I stamped them on a piece of white paper, colored everything with alcohol pens
and designed the snowflakes with a white gel pen.
I put the whole picture in a Polaroid frame.
I stamped the branches and the snowflakes on the gray card blank.
I completed envelopes and a clip to the alpaca photo.

Mein Mann hat eine Alpaka-Bettdecke und die kann man sogar im Sommer benutzen - da temperaturausgleichend!

This is great. I love the idea of the polaroid picture. They do look cosy in their knits and i love the grey background with the snow. Very clever detail with the sentiment in an envelope too. I am so happy to join you this month. So sorry for my late visit. I am trying to catch up after my trip with the grandkids. It was so all consuming that I had no time for commenting xx
Deine Alpakas haben sogar noch einen Schal um den Hals geschlungen!!! Dabei ist deren Wolle sooooo kuschelig!!! Aber gut sehen die Beiden aus.
Alpakas (lebendige) finde ich, haben so richtig menschliche Gesichter und auch Frisuren. Jedes sieht anders aus und man bekommt das Grinsen nicht mehr aus dem Gesicht.
Deine Karte ist wieder einmal grandios.

Eine Karte zum Kuscheln - Genial! Ich finde das Motiv zauberhaft. Die Gestaltung Deiner Karte ist wieder sehr gelungen ... nicht nur in der kalten Jahreszeit :).
