Vor wenigen Tagen hatte ich gesehen, dass alle Stockrosen Blüten angesetzt haben.
Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, welche Farben sie haben werden.
... hollyhocks will bloom in my garden this year.
A few days ago I saw that all the hollyhocks had set flower buds.
I'm really excited to see what colors they will have.
Lila werden die Blüten wahrscheinlich nicht sein,
aber auf unseren Karten dürfen die Blumen alle Farben haben, die sie möchten.
The flowers probably won't be lilac,
but on our cards the flowers can be any color you want.
Den Hintergrund gestaltete ich mit einer Schablone von Heindesign
und einem Pünktchenstempel von Cats on Appletrees.
Die Blumen (Clearly Besotted Stamps) stempelte ich auf ein separates Stück Papier,
colorierte sie mit Alkoholstiften, schnitt sie aus
und befestigte sie mit Shaumstoffpads auf meiner Karte.

and attached them to my card with foam pads.

Those hollyhocks are gorgeous in purple! The stenciled background is the perfect background for them. I like the subtle effect the dotted stencil had on the bricks. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!

Die Blumen sind toll coloriert und auch der Hintergrund passt dazu, ein schönes, stimmiges Kärtchen, und ich bin gespannt, welche Farbe dann deine Stockrosen bekommen, wenn sie blühen.

Ich liebe Stockrosen, leider gehen sie hier im Garten nicht an.
Aber im Urlaub werde ich bestimmt wieder einige sehen und fotografieren.
Die Mauer als Hintergrund ist klasse.
Davor kommen die Blumen prima zur Geltung.

Ich mag Stockrosen total gerne. Sie haben sich voriges Jahr auch selber ausgesät, sind aber nicht zur Blüte gekommen. Vielleicht wars zu trocken. Dieses Jahr habe ich welche an einer ganz anderen Stelle gesehen,mal schauen, ob sie Blüten ansetzen. In der Zwischenzeit erfreue ich mich an deiner wundervollen Blumenkarte.

Wenn die Stockrosen in Deinem Garten genau so wie auf Deiner Karte blühen, hast Du alles richitg gemacht.
Denk dran: sammel die Samen, bring sie auch schon aus, denn Stockrosen blühen immer erst im 2. Jahr.

Sehr schöne Karte und der perfekte Hintergrund für die Stockrosen! Meine sind heuer nicht besonders hoch und auch nicht besonderst zahlreich im Garten. Es hat viel zu viel geregnet! Aber ein paar haben es doch geschafft Blüten anzusetzen.
