Christmas Kickstart Challenge GDT

 

Ich war sehr erfreut, als Jo mich vor einiger Zeit fragte, ob ich im Monat Mai Gastdesigner 

bei der Christmas Kickstart Challenge sein möchte.

Da gab es kein langes Überlegen.

I was delighted when Jo asked me a while back to be a guest designer 

for the Christmas Kickstart Challenge in the month of May.

There was no long thought.

Ich hatte mich auch sehr gefreut, das wir das Thema gemeinsam ausgesucht haben

und wir entschieden uns für eine Farbpalette mit ungewöhnlichen Weihnachtsfarben.

I was also very happy that we chose the theme together 

and we decided on a color palette with unusual Christmas colors.

Das Ungewöhnliche mag ich, denn ich liebe die Herausforderung!!!

Den Hintergrund habe ich mit einer Schablone und Distress Oxides gestaltet.

Nach dem Auftragen habe ich etwas Wasser darauf gespritzt und gleich wieder mit einem Tuch abgetupft, so sind die weißen Flecken entstanden.

Auf einem separatem Stück Papier trug ich die Distress Oxides noch einmal auf 

und stanzte daraus die Kerze und die beiden Weihnachtskugeln.

Die Vase stanzte ich aus einem Reststück Zauberpapier aus und alle anderen Teile aus weißem Papier. Den Weihnachtsstern und den Ilexzweig colorierte ich ebenfalls mit den Distress Oxides.

Ein kleiner silberner Brad und kleine weiße Punkte sind das kleine Highlight beim Weihnachtstern.

Damit der Text sich nicht zu stark abhebt, habe ich ihn dieses mal in grau gestempelt.

I like the unusual, because I love the challenge!!!

I designed the background with a stencil and distress oxides.

After applying, I splashed some water on it and immediately dabbed it off with a cloth, 

which is how the white spots appeared.

On a separate piece of paper I applied the Distress Oxides again and punched out the candle 

and the two Christmas balls.

I punched out the vase from a leftover piece of magic paper and all the other parts from white paper. 

I also colored the poinsettia and the holly branch with the Distress Oxides.

A small silver brad and small white dots are the small highlight of the poinsettia.

So that the text doesn't stand out too much, I stamped it in gray this time.
