Auch die Tochter meiner Freundin feiert dieses Jahr ihre Jugendweihe
und ich habe eine Karte in ihren Lieblingsfarben gebastelt.
... for many young people is the day of the youth initiation!
(On this day, young people are solemnly admitted into the circle of adults.)
My friend's daughter is also celebrating her youth initiation this year
and I made a card in her favorite colors.

Den Hintergrund gestaltete ich wieder mit dem Zauberpapier
und die Motive stammen von Chou & Flowers.
Diese colorierte ich mit Alkoholstiften und befestigte sie mit Schaumstoffpads auf der Karte.
Da ich keinen passenden Textstempel habe, half mir mein DYMO Gerät.
I designed the background again with the magic paper and the motifs come from Chou & Flowers.
I colored these with alcohol pens and attached them to the card with foam pads.
Since I don't have a suitable text stamp, my DYMO device helped me.

Jugendweihe gibt es hier gar nicht liebe Gundi,
aber egal, die Karte dazu finde ich toll.

Da wir relativ dicht an der Landesgrenze zu Sachsen-Anhalt wohnen, habe ich auch schon Karten zur Jugendweihe gebastelt und mir sogar mal einen kleinen Stempel dazu angeschafft. Das Thema ist tatsächlich nicht so einfach umzusetzen, da es ja nichts Kirchliches ist. Obwohl ich gesichtslose Figuren nicht mag, spiegelt deine Karte gut wieder, dass es sich um eine junge Erwachsene handelt. Volltreffer zum Thema!
