oder sich den Frühling auf einer Karte selbst basteln!!!
... one can only dream of spring or make one's own spring on a card!!!
Auf dieser Karte kamen ganz viele Stempel aus unterschiedlichen Stempelsets zum Einsatz.
Zuerst habe ich den Vogel gestempelt, maskiert und anschließend habe ich die Gräser in unterschiedlichen Grautönen gestempelt. Andere Gräser habe ich mit Gesso weiß gestempelt (oh, da musste ich schnell sein, denn das Gesso trocknet sehr schnell am Stempel). Die Pusteblumen habe ich ebenfalls mit weißem Gesso gemacht. Dazu habe ich das Gesso mit einem Wattepad aufgetupft.
Den Vogel und die Schmetterlinge habe ich leicht coloriert und den Rand habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift frei Hand gezeichnet.
A lot of stamps from different stamp sets were used on this card.
First I stamped the bird, masked it and then I stamped the grasses in different shades of gray.
Other grasses I stamped with white gesso (oh, I had to be quick because the gesso dries very quickly on the stamp). I also made the dandelions with white gesso. I dabbed on the gesso with a cotton pad.
I lightly colored the bird and the butterflies and drew the border freehand with a white gel pen.

Genau!!!!! Das ist der Vorteil beim Basteln: man kann sich seine Welt zurechtbasteln wie man sie gerne hätte.

Auch wenn die Motive schön frühlingshaft sind, gefällt mir gut, dass du dich bei den Farben noch ein wenig bedeckt gehalten hast! So sieht die Karte nicht gleich so krass nach Frühling aus und wir können uns ganz langsam dran gewöhnen! :-)

Das kannst du wohl laut sagen. Heute morgen haben die Vögel vor dem Küchenfenster schon fleißig gesungen, da hatte ich schon Hoffnung, dass es heute mal schöner wäre, aber ja ... war wohl nichts.
Gut, dass ich mir den Frühling mit deiner Karte ins Haus holen kann ;)

What a beautiful spring scene. I would never have thought of trying to stamp with gesso, it comes out very white so it seems a good idea, if you can be quick enough, which probably counts me out as I can't be quick at anything! xx
Ein zauberhaftes Werk ist dir gelungen. Zu mir hast du den Frühling wohl schon gelockt - heute war es warm und sonnig (auch wenn sich das Wetter morgen wieder ändern wird...). :)
